Please stop the rates from doubling. It is already extremely difficult for students to ever pay back the loans with the rates as they are. Then they face the challenge of getting employment in the same field that they have their degree in, only to find a minimum wage job if they can find one at all!

Congress needs to act to prevent the interest rate from doubling from 3.4 percent to 6.8 percent, affecting some 7 million students.
