Immigrants here in the United States are very common.One of my friends whose major is Human Services tells me that there is a Chinese boy in kindergarten could not communicate with the teachers well and did not want to go to school because of the language. Fear of school might put a shadow on this little kid. I highly recommend having bilingual teachers with the minority groups' language skills, not only in big cities.
Kids from minority group will not from isolated or scared from their peers. At the same time, kids will clear know his own identity from very early age. To some parents,especially who could not communicate in English, bilingual teachers could act as the liaison man between them.
