Bipartisan Resolution to Create a Presidential Youth Council Introduced
On Oct. 1, Reps. Larson (D-CT) and Bishop (R-UT) and 15 cosponsors introduced a bipartisan resolution to create a Presidential Youth Council. This sends a strong message to the Obama administration and the public that the voice of young people is valuable in policy debates and must be taken into account.
The resolution has gained traction this past month, including earning an endorsement from Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy.
The Campaign for a Presidential Youth Council is a youth-led coalition calling for the creation of this council. We need your help as constituents to demonstrate to policymakers across the country that this is a proposal they should support. You can do this by sending a message directly to your Representative's office via POPVOX.
