In th State of the Union speech, President Obama  outlined a series of ideas to build an economy that works for everyone, one that will bring about a new era of American manufacturing, and promote homegrown and alternative energy sources. Taken together, those ideas represent a "blueprint for the future".

In the "Blueprint for an America Buildt to Last," the President calls for new skills and better education so we're all prepaerd to compete in a global market. Along with an emphasis on manufacturing and energy, the President also aims to "restore a basic sense of fairness to our economic system."
