City Grade-Level Reading Awards Presented to 14 Communities

The National Civic League announced the winners of its 2012 All-America City Grade-Level Reading Award, recognizing 14 communities that have developed ambitious, collaborative plans to help more children read proficiently by the end of third grade. The League presented the coveted All-America City Award to communities where local partners representing a broad range of sectors have developed strong Community Solutions Action Plans as part of the national Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.
