 National Cable & Telecommunications Association President and CEO and America's Promise Alliance Grad Nation Co-Chair Michael K. Powell has released a law journal introduction piece titled Digital Literacy and American Competitiveness: How Communications Technology Can Stem America's High School Dropout Rate. Writes Powell, "[t]o transition to an ICT-based economy, we must improve graduation rates and provide students with the skill sets and experiences necessary to successfully compete in today's global marketplace."
