1 out of 4 ninth graders in the United States will not graduate from high school within four years. This Family Engagement for High School Success Toolkit identifies the features of successful family engagement and develops strategies to promote family involvement in and out of the classroom to improve school readiness, academic achievement, improved social skills, and likelihood of high school graduation.

The toolkit is in two parts: Part 1 focuses on the comprehensive planning that goes into the development of a family engagement initiative, and part 2 focuses on the early implementation process.
