Feeding America

Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest) is a hunger-relief charity with a nationwide network of member food banks and other community programs. Each year, the Feeding America network provides food to more than 25 million low-income people facing hunger in the United States, including more than 9 million children. It also works to change public policies to better serve the nation's hungry children and families.

The site includes resources, action tools and real-life stories of what's working.

In September 2008, America’s Second Harvest changed its name to Feeding America.
