The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) assists in educating student athletes and creating an environment that promotes healthy choices about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. The NCAA CHOICES grant program provides funding for higher education institutions to integrate athletics into efforts to reduce alcohol abuse on college campuses.

CHOICES projects must partner athletics with other campus departments in the development and implementation of effective alcohol education projects.

Grants range up to $15,000 for the first year, $10,000 for the second year, and $5,000 for the third and final year of the grant. Applying colleges and universities must be NCAA member institutions.
