House Takes Aim at Current Spending for FY11

What do YouthBuild, LEAP assistance for low-income college students, the Green Jobs Innovation Fund and Title I education funds for disadvantaged schools have in common? They are on the chopping block to be eliminated or reduced in the proposed House budget for the remaining months of this fiscal year. Some programs would end up with no more funding for the rest of the year if the House Budget Committee prevails.
