In my area there is a real need for youth shoe stores. There are a ton of places for adults to go to purchase shoes especially for sports and almost nowhere dedicated to the little ones. Parents have to drive to multiple places and make countless phone calls to find specialty/technical shoes for little athletes and wide shoes. With having a place that could focus just on youth shoes and possibly an ordering system for shoes the store can't hold would generate a lot of business as the competition to the store is small and cnvinient. This could also employ many people in the areas I am able to open stores. Also since youth outgrow there shoes before they are deteriorated we cn offer a discount for old shoes we can then give away to families and children needing some help. I know this idea could work and I appreciate your consideration.
I am a 22 year old track athlete. I have worked in a lot of retail jobs and am currently finishing school for degrees in business and exercise science. Working in the footwear departments of these stores I have heard a lot of parents complaining about trying to find their kids shoes (from wide feet, cheer, and basketball to youth track spikes). Working on projects like this and being a track athlete I know that finding the right shoes are very important especially at a younger age.
