Launch of Teen-Produced Literary Journal

Raw Fiction is a new literary arts project designed to give writers aged 16 to 20 the opportunity to produce and publicize their own literary publication. The writers will read and write fiction while receiving professional skills training in editing, media relations, grant writing, graphic design and web programming. Creative writing workshops will provide a space for the writers to work on existing creative work, explore new styles of writing and discuss ideas that mainstream media either ignores, glosses over, or exploits.
