Need creative ideas for meal planning, shopping, and food preparation? Or fun suggestions for active play?  The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act (HHFKA) of 2010 encourages child care providers to promote health and wellness in child care through nutrition, physical activity and limited electronic media use. This website of resources is dedicated to helping Chilld and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) providers find the resources they need to meet recommendations in these areas. It includes a handbook for child care providers to help create healthier environments for the children in their care, a series of tip sheets addressing wellness recommendations and other creative suggestions for meal planning and active play.
