Obesity Education Should Be Provided To Kids And Teens, American Medical Association Says

The American Medical Association agreed to support legislation that would require classes in causes, consequences, and prevention of obesity for first through twelfth graders in public schools, according to this Huffington Post article. Doctors will be encouraged to volunteer their time to help support the policy, which was adopted at the AMA's annual policymaking meeting.
