I think youth should be educated on how to start a savings plan for retirement at an early age. Youth should be aware of the investment opportunities that are available to them now because it will help secure a more financial future. Saving at a young age will help youth reach their goals with having to rely on credit cards and loans with high interest rates.
Hello, my name is Alex and i am a participant of YO! Mateo's Betting On Our Future (BOOF) campaign in San Mateo County. Our current project is focuses on how predatory pay-day lending services are negative in my community and how it relates to problem gambling. We are currently creating a video to raise awareness about problem gambling and developing a policy that will help protect low income communities of color from being targets of predatory pay day lenders.
