I don't actually have a program name yet, but I was thinking that it would be cool to have a program that helps youth get a job, and even help them get back into school. Now, Indiana has a program like this, Called JAG. It's a program that I currently attend. But as far as I know, it's only for people that are currently in school. It would be better and easier on kids who aren't in school to access my program. I could have them meet in groups and I could coach them on Job etiquette, how to build a resume, how to dress, and even what to expect in certain jobs. Much like JAG, I could also help with Job Shadowing. We could work together to get Youth what they need to get back into school or get into College. Since this program would be so similar to JAG, I could possibly partner up with them. This program would reach out to the youth who cant get the help they need from JAG because they aren't in school.
I'm currently in a program as stated above called JAG. Jag helps students get jobs and get into colleges. I was thinking that this program is nice, but is not useable by the Youth who aren't in highschool currently. I decided it would be nice to put together a program that reaches out to those youth. Being a mother of a two year old, I know what it's like to not be in school and not having a job. It's very important to me that no matter the situation, Youth can get jobs. Even if younger.
