Stand Up for Health Care and Tweet Your Legislators
Despite all of the great benefits of our health care protections, opponents have been out in full force, engaging in a campaign to try to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and cut billions from Medicare and Medicaid – all so they can score political points with their base.
But, legislators are paying very close attention to Twitter. This gives us a great opportunity to send them a clear message: Americans support the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Medicaid and want to protect our health care rights!
It's easy to do and only takes a minute:
- First enter your zip code in the box to the right to find all your elected officials on Twitter – they’ll display below.
- Then click on each "Tweet" button next to your officials to open Twitter and sign our petition in support of the Affordable Care Act.
- If you aren't already logged into Twitter, you'll be asked to do so, then just push "tweet" to sign the petition.
It’s super easy, and it will make a huge impression on your legislators. To maximize your impact, make sure you tweet this message at all of your officials.
