Federal lawmakers came together on a bill that will have great positive effects on the educational lives of children in foster care.

On January 14, 2013, President Obama signed the Uninterrupted Scholars Act (USA), a bill introduced by bi-partisan members of Congress that amends the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), so that social workers will have access to foster student records.

By granting child welfare agencies access to foster youth school records, USA is providing these youth with additional advocates who will ensure they have what they need to succeed academically while preserving the educational privacy rights granted to students under current federal law.

In the video below, learn more about how this Act came to be, and the incredible youth who took part, and read about it here:

Students must avail all the facilities provided for them. Education is very important in one's lifetime and the society should value it. We can see that the politicians and the management of the schools are corrupted and thus students are not getting the desires. The society must act against it together. The medias should react against it through the television channel, social media, online media, and newspapers. If the medias are not supportive, then get a student who do journalism degree at present so that it might be an experience to take responsibility of the job.
