Youth Entrepreneur Investment Fund
Sharing is caring
So many young entrepreneurs aren’t able to pursue their business ideas because of the lack of capital. My idea is to create the Youth Entrepreneur Investment Fund (YEIF) for young entrepreneurs (16-24) who have a great idea that would generate jobs and revenue but are in need of startup capital. Any entrepreneur interested in receiving YEIF funds will have to submit an application and business plan to the YEIF volunteer staff. Each application is reviewed to determine if it meets the criteria and requirements to receive the funds. Once approved, the entrepreneur will receive an interest free startup capital loan. The loans are to be paid back after a certain amount of time. I think this will give young entrepreneurs the necessary boost to pursue their business idea. Mentorships are also provided by volunteers who have experience in business.
I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and currently a sophomore at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am also a young entrepreneur started my first business when I was six years old selling car air fresheners.
