First we get a construction company to build a building about the size of McDonald's. This creates jobs for the construction worker, then the light company, the gas company, the plumbers, and everything else that is necessary for a safe building and functional building. Then we get the building painted and put up a sign that says "Jobs for the Youth by the Youth."
Now that the building is done, time for the inside. There will be many stations. We will have a couple of adults: managers, boss, etc.. The first station will be youth workers who search for jobs to provide other youths applicants in search for jobs. Since this organization seeks positive change applicants must be good learners, 2.0 GPA, clean records, and they must be prepared.
The second station will have a group of students who teach others how to write resumes. This job is voluntary with a few perks such as food and refreshments provided. The third and final station will be job preparing. We will bring workers from different field to come and talk to students about the field they are in and what to expect if they are heading towards the same direction. We will provide trips to companies to tour and other educational field trips.
If this project is done, our youth will be given jobs, will be taught how to find jobs, and they will learn about all the different fields they can go into. Jobs they want then jobs they shall receive.
I am a junior in high school. I want to go to college but I fear that when I am finished with school I will not find a job. Some jobs reject applicant because of lack of experience. I want every student and future employee to not face this obstacle in the job world. In this tough economy we the youth have to stick together and help each other out. We will bring about positive change in the future. I am unable to pull through with this plan currently, but when given the chance I will not hesitate.
