Mythbuster: Kayla Cocozzo

An active member of her local teen advisory council, Kayla helps raise awareness of the dangers of meth through a Not Even Once campaign.

Kayla, a very driven young woman, always is the first to jump at an opportunity to get involved and is often the last to leave because she likes to see things through to successful completion.

A member of the Idaho Meth Project's Teen Advisory Council, Kayla works to spread the Not Even Once message on methamphetamine in her school and community.

"She is what you'd call the definition of a 'go-getter.'" says nominator Sophie Dresser, program coordinator for the Idaho Meth Project. "Kayla is such an asset to our organization.  Without her work ethic and determination, we certainly couldn't have achieved all we have in the past year.  She is remarkable and I feel honored to have guided her in this leadership experience. Kayla is making big changes happen!"
