A new survey by Packaged Facts finds that per capita soft drink consumption among U.S. children has increased by nearly 500% over the past 50 years. After children reach age 10, soda is the most commonly consumed beverage they drink. The report suggests giving kids flavored dairy and yogurt drinks instead of soft drinks to provide both the flavor and nutrients growing bodies crave.
