www.idn.org can overwhelm first-time visitors with its attempt to cover the multitude of development issues affecting adults and youth worldwide, from economic development to education to birth control. Those willing to spend the time will be rewarded. The site offers public and member chat rooms, a bookstore, a list of job openings, a search engine, and a daily electronic newsletter about development. The site also contains project profiles, news stories, and 800 links to more than 800 organizations, such as those that bring youths together to work on global issues and programs that provide development statistics on different countries.
