October 1, 2000

www.juvenilenet.org is intended to encourage communication between juvenile justice professionals, particularly regarding reform programs in state and local systems. The site reports on research and successful programs. Articles include an analysis of the juvenile crime rate in Washington, D.C., and reports on the effectiveness of community policing in a California neighborhood and on the success of early intervention efforts. Readers may also submit articles and announcements, and participate in opinion polls.
