provides information on how to become a mentor, and also instructs viewers on how to take action, run a program and find resources. The National Mentoring Partnership, a nonprofit based in Alexandria, Va., does not offer direct mentoring services, but it does serve as an excellent resource pool for mentoring organizations to successfully serve young people in their communities. Other services offered include a response line to answer questions about mentoring; and public awareness campaigns through partnerships with America’s Promise, The Harvard Mentoring Project and ABC television network.
