In 1993, Vermont began publishing The Social Well-being of Vermonters, a compilation of 51 indicators, distributed among the outcomes, that graphically portray progress (or lack of progress) over time, and in most cases, compare Vermont to the nation. In 1995, the Vermont Agency of Human Services began publishing Community Profiles, which takes well-being comparisons to the level of 60 school districts, comparing school district data to county and statewide indicators.
