From the number of hours teens report spending on homework to how many say there is at least one teacher they can confide in, the Horatio Alger survey of adolescents provides a yearly snapshot of how teenagers perceive their world and their community. This year's survey included questions on Iraq, required military or community service, and the importance of the 2004 election.
