Working Together to Build a Birth-to-College Approach to Public Education

The challenges of forming a partnership between the early
learning/PreK and the K-12 worlds are documented in this case study.  It includes a video produced by the
University of Chicago Urban Education Institute (UEI) and the Ounce of
Prevention Fund.  These materials show that making connections between
early learning and K-12 education requires skilled facilitation that fosters
